Der Ort in mir und Peripherie

"The place inside of me and its periphery" is the title of my diploma thesis, which I am going to present as a performance. It covers various personal phases of my life, based on daily notes, and displays my inner thoughts.

The focus lies on how problems are dealt with as well as on the development and the disadvantages of our modern society. Even though I've always had problems with expressing myself in German, writing nevertheless became the ideal means of communication for me. Only writing can express art narratively, controversially and with the appropriate authenticity. Writing allows me to express and structure my ideas and innermost thoughts. Texts help me visualize my fantasies for others. Through listening, becomes a unique product of fantasy. The fascinating aspect of language is the ability to jot down ideas and then construct a text by means of rhetorical devices such as alliteration, metaphors, irony, criticism, paradoxical items and the like.
The interaction of monologues results in a dynamic dialogue between my abstract thoughts, my instincts and all the personalities within me. A playful try to combine several threads, which lead nowhere - like an absurd book that no one is able to read. I personally prefer simplicity, which is why the room is supposed to be empty and as you imagine it to be. My work is a melancholic story, set in a world somewhere between reality, dreams and utopia, where time has no meaning. My work is a melancholic story, set in a world somewhere between reality, dreams and utopia, where time has no meaning.
I perceive words like colors; grammar and syntax play a minor role, yet harmony and contrast between words are of paramount importance to me.

Why, however, do Persian and English sentences come up every now and then?
Persian is my mother tongue, which was the basis of my first thoughts, and thus honoring Persian literature, I chose to include some Persian and English extracts in my text. By means of this combination, the text is supposed to appear more dynamic to readers.
